Today is Election Day. Tomorrow morning, we will all need coffee.
So come to Mokah Coffee + Tea to grab a cup with the Dallas Free Press team from 9-10:30 a.m. No matter who you voted for and how today’s election pans out, we’ll lift your spirits with a preview of the award-winning Documenters program we’re bringing to Dallas in 2023.
The Documenters Network trains and pays residents to take notes at local public meetings, and is a central part of Dallas Free Press’ vision for community-powered journalism. Elections are important, and keeping tabs on what happens after elections is crucial, too.
You don’t need to RSVP, but we’d love to know you’re coming!
Also, please save the date for two more Dallas Free Press-ed Coffees this year — Nov. 30 at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center, where we’ll talk about our work with The Trust Project, and Dec. 14 at Union Coffee, where we’ll give a sneak peek of what’s ahead in 2023.
Thank you for your support, and see you soon!
