West Dallas 1 videos simplify back-to-school safety plans

By |Published On: August 12, 2020|Categories: West Dallas|

Dallas ISD’s 41-page Reentry Playbook for Parents is thorough, but West Dallas 1, a grassroots coalition that focuses on education, environment and housing issues in our neighborhood, didn’t want West Dallas families to miss the information they consider most crucial about back-to-school safety measures.

They “created informative videos to highlight some of the most notable changes or steps” that will help prevent students and teachers from transmitting COVID-19. The videos are in both English and Spanish.

Families have until Tuesday, Aug. 25 to determine whether their students will return to campus or learn virtually. Either way, the DISD school year starts on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
